how come girls buy uggs which kill 2 sheep per pair

i don’t get it

its sheepskin…..so they have to kill the sheep

Do u care that sheep have to be killed to make Ugg boots?

The sheep has to be slaughted to obtain their hide and fleece. Now once the sheepskin hides are taken from the sheep then the process of preparing the hide for manufacturers and ensuring the hides are up to export standard begins.

Woolskins are usually preserved with salt prior to being processed by tanneries. At the tannery the skins are processed in large vessels called paddles which vary in capacity from 3000 to 15000 litres. In contrast to hide processing, in woolskin processing mechanical action is kept to a minimum in order to minimise felting of the wool. Rotating blades on the paddles move the skins slowly and gently, and processing is performed at much higher float ratios (typically 20-35 litres of water per skin) than are used in hide processing.

Typically it takes about 10 working days for the skins to be tanned and finished ready to be cut into panels for ugg boots

After finding out that organic or all-natural products are better for your skin, I decided to give them a try. I had pretty good skin and barely ever broke out. I bought the Aubrey Organics skin care set and after using it for 2 weeks I began breaking out badly and my face seemed very irritated. I didn’t think it was the Aubrey Organics so I thought it’s my makeup I’m allergic to! It took me a while to realize that it’s actually the "organic" skin care products that were irritating my skin. I switched back to my old skincare regime and my skin normalized. But I don’t understand how can "organic" products react that way on your skin? Isn’t "organic" better for you? I don’t get it.

My skin has always been the way I wanted it to be, clear of spots and just perfect for me. I don’t wear any makeup, and I drink alot of water and I love cucember, which is supposed to be extremely good for the skin. Anyway, a few weeks ago (about two), I went swimming with a friend. I was under the water a lot, and the water conatined more chlorene that it was supposed to in my opinion.
When I got home from this swimming thing, my skin felt not normal. It was irrated, and tiny bumps kept appearing on it, and it felt all dried up. It’s been this way for two weeks. I cleanse and polish everyday, by the way, and I’ve kept my daily routine up for the past two weeks, and it hasn’t helped anything. I even started drinking an extra glass of water every day, and it just hasn’t helped.
Friends say if I really care about it that much to just cover it up with some make up, but I really don’t want to and I won’t do that, because that will just irratate my skin even more. So, can anybody tell me why it’s reacting this way? And please don’t tel me to buy anymore products, because the products I’ve used for a matter of years now have worked perfectly and the way I like them. So, is there any solution to why my skin has reacted this way?

PS: I’m not allergic to chlorene! So please don’t suggest that! And all the times I’ve been swimming before – in this same pool – it hasn’t reacted this way before.

Thanks!:)

hello there..
i have recently realized that i really do not take care of my self like i should.. i just want to know where to buy the following and which brand.. btw buying from adelaide, south australia!

what is good for your face, i want something that will stop me from aging, something that moisturizes my face and wont cause me to have pimples.. also something so i don’t age around my eyes.

a good body moisturizer, one that will keep my skin very soft and smooth…
a good moisturizer for my hands and feet, i really want soft hands and feet and not hard and chappy..

something that is very good for my lips, so they are always soft and not chapping.. and lastly, what is a good diet, i love to eat junk food, its my absoloute favourite thing ever!

what is the best product i could use for my hair like heat protector because i straighten it and blow dry it everyday, sod its a bit unhealthy.

I had bought the Urban decay primer potion aboutttt 6 months ago, and it was woonderful, it worked so well. But i just recently bought it again and it DOES NOT work for me, what so ever. I have creases 2 hours into the day which does not work for me. I’m not doing anything differently, no new skin care routine or anything. i almost feel as though they have changed the formula for it… Can anyone explain why this happened? And also, could anyone reccommend a new primer for me?

I am a teenager and i want to take care of my skin, because i don’t want my skin to look really awful when i grow up
please say everything that i need to make it beautiful and clear…if you recommend products please choose international ones, because i live in the middle east(KSA)…
also tell me whether i should buy night creams, after bath creams, before going out…but things that wont ruin my skin, things that are natural i guess
and just tell me anything you know about maintaining a healthy, smooth looking skin
^____^ thank you very much
