I am seventeen of FIlipino and Spanish ethnicity and have very dark knees and elbows. Also, the middle joints of my fingers and toes are also dark. Some of my friends say that I lack a certain vitamin. I don’t have enough money (and also don’t want to risk it) to buy expensive skin care products. Are there any natural solutions to this?
i have dry/ sensitive skin. I’ve been using AcneFree, but the cold winter winds is making my skin more red, dry, and blotchy. anyone know of products that will keep my skin moisturized and clear??
I’m 33 and have lost that youthful glow. I would like to start a skin care & make-up routine that won’t be expensive and take too much time. I’d like suggestions for using natural or homemade products. I’ve started using plain natural yogurt on my face/neck for moisture & exfoliation and I love it! I’ve also use chamomile tea bags on my eyes to reduce puffiness. My skin is healthy, no blemish problems. I’m just starting to get fine lines and not as firm anymore. I see all these anti-wrinkle serums & beads, creams & scrubs. For make-up, there is Primer? Like on my walls? Lol! Beauty experts suggests all these different brushes for each step. Those things aren’t cheap! Won’t a q-tip do? I don’t want to be an airbrushed model. I just want even skin tone without looking like I’m covered in a dusty white mask. All of these highlighters, brighteners, toners etc have me so confused. The people at the stores/mall just want you to buy EVERYTHING. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
I wanted my husband to come and get a mask with me on Saturday but he will not. I told him that at his age he needs to start taking care of his skin. My husband is very handsome but I see that his facial skin is starting to age slightly. A mask would freshen his look.
How do I convince him to come and get a mask?
This was on Michelle Phan’s Layering Skin Care video.
"Layering skin care products is very popular in Asia. A poll showed how women in Asia would use about an average of 9 skin care products on a daily basis! So skin care is taken very very seriously."
I personally have no idea how they can afford this. I can only get about (If I’m lucky.) 1 Jar of moisturizer and 1 of eye cream every month. If I’m not lucky, every two months. And, other products – I usually use Aveeno Clear Complexion pads, sea salt from my kitchen to exfoliate, and peppermint extract for my acne. Even the creams I buy, I cannot afford to buy anything over each. So, say both the eye cream and moisturizer are dollars each: That’s each time I buy.
Yet, I see girls being able to afford items that cost -0 each item, and they buy a bunch of them. How can they afford this!?
I currently own the Aveeno Active Naturals Skin Brightening Daily Scrub. I also own the Aveeno Active Naturals Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser. I also own th Aveeno Active Naturals Positively ageless lifting & firming eye cream. I also own L’OREAL Paris Dermo-Expertise HydraFresh Toner.

Now here is what I am confused about. I don’t know what goes first. The daily scrub or the cleanser. I understand that you are suppose to cleanse everyday. The thing is I have the daily scrub and sense it says daily, I suppose i have to do that daily also. So what goes first.
I’m also confused as to how I incorporate my eye cream and toner.
I am 15 and bran new to skincare, I am also low on money and can’t really by anything else at this moment. My skin isn’t so bad. I don’t have/get acne. I rarely get some tiny bumps on my face but they leave within a week. My skin only gets dry during winter. In the other seasons my skin isn’t oily or dry. Its pretty in the middle. So I’m guessing I have normal to dry skin. I bought the eye ream because I have terrible dark circles. I’m being serious. Even when I have a good night sleep they are still pretty bad.
I hope you understood my problem. I had trouble wording this out.
i bought this item opened it and i still haven’t used it but it was pretty expensive and im not sure if it works so first i want to try it out to see if i like it if i dont i want to return it will they take it?
I want skin care products for my face and upper chest [for low cut shirts]. Ok my skin is pale white but i have freckles all over my face and my face is kind of red naturally.
I’m a teenager and I don’t have the money to buy all those products that some websites and magazines suggest. My skin is pretty normal, neither dry nor oily. But I have lots of blackheads(most on my nose) and sometimes pimples but they’re not tragic. I do facial every 2-3 months.
I don’t know how to take care of my skin daily… Can you tell me how?
p.s. I don’t put on make up every day
I have oily acne proned skin.
I recently starting using clean and clear,
I use they’re continuous control face wash + persa gel 10.
Anyways, It’s gotten rid of my ance but I still have terrible scars?
So what products/things are good for getting rid of acne scaring?
What do you suggest?
Also I need to get a moisturizer, so any brands you guys recommend? or any home remedies to help my skin until I buy the moisturizer?
And ANY skincare advice will be helpful.
