Help !! :D I have acne/combination skin! >< and it’s hard to find make-up that doesn’t cake or anything when i put it on , any ideas? :S I’ve had acne since i was 11 and started wearing make-up when i was 12.. i just wore some powder from nivea and was always worrying about it, i remember in latin i sat at the back of the class and i’d try and secretly put it on. and in class i’d accidently pick a spot and always be asking for a tissue.. yeah.. good memories.. –’ lol. to be honest i would LOVE to be able not to wear make-up and have to bother with it all but i’d look like i just came out of world war three if i didn’t so yeah >< not guna happen, for the moment anyway :( :3
i mostly have a oily T-zone and then the rest of my face is pretty dry and sensitive..

i thought that seeing as my t-zone was where my acne was, i had oily skin so i tryed a ‘oil-free balancing’ foundation from the Body shop but argh!! nope!! lol. it would not blend at all and just stuck on my skin and bought all my pores out and just looked very cakey- big no.
so i tryed the ‘moisture’ foundation from the bodyshop, wich is what i’ve been using until recently-
i do really like it but i find that it tends to come off alot, especially round my nose and goes shiny..
was always having to ‘blotch’ it with those little paper thingys but i ran out pretty quickly :L…
i have tryed a Nivea foundation ‘pure&natural’ but either it was the wrong colour and too heavy..(trouble is live in the countryside in france an most of the shops are quite far away, there is a big supermarket with some makeup but the trouble is you can’t test it to try it out! :( .. i did however find a packet with some ‘mousse’ foundation that was open, so i decided to open the whole thing and test it but it wasn’t right anyway -shh!- (a) haha ) in the end i bought some l’oreal foundation for 15 euros, i haven’t tryed it for a whole school day yet but it seems much better coverage wise :) though it has a brush, i prefer to use a sponge otherwise it doesn’t look right!

so i guess i have dry skin but very sensitive? or combination ? blah xD.
anyone have any ideas for foundations/powders that they think might work? :) xox
or even any skincare products they’d recomend, moisturisers.. anything basically, would be MUCH appreciated !!!! :-)

My routine:
wash my face with warm water and pat it a bit
use 1pump of the clearasil multiaction gel stuff
moisturise ( a garnier one ’24hrs moisturizing care-eliminates the imperfections’ wich i use on my T-zone and then a Nivea shine controle wich i used on my cheeks etc, though sometimes i do prefer to use it all over my face after the garnier one as i find my face looks more ‘evened out’ colour wise..?)
*sometimes* primer from the body shop
a concealer pen from garnier ’2in1 Anti-spots roll-on’
then a concealer wich i put under my eyes
l’orĂ©al foundation
and voila!. if i don’t use a primer then some of my mums powder but she doesn’t really have the same colour or anything so it’s not that good lol!

i have dark brown hair with lighter brown goldyhighlights, quite pale skin, feeew freckles on the top of my cheeks,browny/hazel eyes, and yep.. :)

Is there any make-up for me out there? Lol :) should i ask a doctor/dermatologist (or however you spell that) what make-up is best for my skin? :/! :)x

I recently bought some new products. One is micro-dermabrasion pads and the other is a night time moisturizer. They are the only changes to my usual routines. Regardless of the cause, I woke up to a rash like break out only on my chin & at my hairline. They are tiny raised bumps. While some look like tiny pimples most are just raised bumps. I stopped use of both products. How can I treat and heal these areas quickly?

I’m 33 and have lost that youthful glow. I would like to start a skin care & make-up routine that won’t be expensive and take too much time. I’d like suggestions for using natural or homemade products. I’ve started using plain natural yogurt on my face/neck for moisture & exfoliation and I love it! I’ve also use chamomile tea bags on my eyes to reduce puffiness. My skin is healthy, no blemish problems. I’m just starting to get fine lines and not as firm anymore. I see all these anti-wrinkle serums & beads, creams & scrubs. For make-up, there is Primer? Like on my walls? Lol! Beauty experts suggests all these different brushes for each step. Those things aren’t cheap! Won’t a q-tip do? I don’t want to be an airbrushed model. I just want even skin tone without looking like I’m covered in a dusty white mask. All of these highlighters, brighteners, toners etc have me so confused. The people at the stores/mall just want you to buy EVERYTHING. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I currently own the Aveeno Active Naturals Skin Brightening Daily Scrub. I also own the Aveeno Active Naturals Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser. I also own th Aveeno Active Naturals Positively ageless lifting & firming eye cream. I also own L’OREAL Paris Dermo-Expertise HydraFresh Toner.
-This is all that I have (Skincare Wise)

Now here is what I am confused about. I don’t know what goes first. The daily scrub or the cleanser. I understand that you are suppose to cleanse everyday. The thing is I have the daily scrub and sense it says daily, I suppose i have to do that daily also. So what goes first.
I’m also confused as to how I incorporate my eye cream and toner.

I am 15 and bran new to skincare, I am also low on money and can’t really by anything else at this moment. My skin isn’t so bad. I don’t have/get acne. I rarely get some tiny bumps on my face but they leave within a week. My skin only gets dry during winter. In the other seasons my skin isn’t oily or dry. Its pretty in the middle. So I’m guessing I have normal to dry skin. I bought the eye ream because I have terrible dark circles. I’m being serious. Even when I have a good night sleep they are still pretty bad.

I hope you understood my problem. I had trouble wording this out.

I am looking to purchase a new skincare regimen & I have combination skin, oily in the t-zone and try under eyes & on cheeks. I breakout occasionally, more often during the week right before my period. The breakouts are mostly one or two pimples in the chin & forehead area. I want products that will clear up acne but not overly-dry my skin. I also have sensitive skin & cannot buy anything with an oil-base or harsh ingredients. So far I’ve considered Philosophy, Clinique or Murad. All have skincare products that deal with acne. Has anyone ever used any of these, and if so – how did they work out for you? If they didn’t work out, why not? Finally, is there any other product not mentioned here that has worked wonders for someone? Thanks!
Thanks! I signed up for makeup alley & have already found valuable reviews :-)

I am having really bad skin problems. Never dealt with acne and dry skin before. My skin feels very dry, I’ve been having really bad out breaks and it looks like I have enlarged pores also. I was wondering if it was any good skin care products or tips for african american women. Or just good skin care products in general. I have tried Clean & Clear pore cleaner and it didn’t. All suggestions are welcome.
