SO.. i have combination skin. I don’t exactly have acne..but i do have quite a few blemishes and my skin is prone to breakouts/acne. At the moment, i use mostly clean and clear products and I don’t think i see the improvement, even though I have been using the products for a couple months now.
What are some skin care products that actually help by tightening pores and help clearing up your skin??
PLEASE ANSWER (: <3

Hey guys,I hope someone out there might have an answer.I do not use make up at all, except for kohl and lip balm/gloss,the reason being not sure what I am supposed to use.I have normal to oily skin which is fairly sensitive. Also as I am of Indian origin,I am a medium shade of brown. Now what sort of make-up am I supposed to use on an everyday basis just to cover up pigments and blemishes? What colour foundation should I use and should I use powder as well?I have dark circles under my eyes and on my eyelids. Can I apply foundation to those areas as well?I am so concerned about the expense of all these items,so I only want something very simple and easy to use.Is there a skin-care regime I should follow?Thank you.

Male teen here. Oily (not extremely oily) facial skin with large pores (inherited from parents), blackheads on nose and some over the cheeks and some blemishes. I’ve read about the 3 basic facial skin care (cleanser, toner, moisturizer). Have started using a antibacterial cleanser and an aloe vera moisturizer almost every evening. And till now it seems like the usual acne breakouts have stopped though not totally.

Well, some of my questions are… Do I really need to buy a toner? This 3 products keep the face clean and protect it but how should I get rid of my current blackheads? I’ve read somewhere that applying ice cubes to the pores tightens them (same about toothpaste). What should I do to tighten my pores?

I will really appreciate all decent answers. Please recommend methods, products if you know about any. Consider that I live in a "second world" country so please dont recommend very rare stuff. Thanks a lot in advance

I have a combination of ioly and dry skin. I get dry skin around my mouth after every time i wash my face with anything even with just plain water. When i use a moisterizer it breaks me out or dries my skin even more. And my skin gets oily more into the day on my forehead, nose, chin and my cheeks a little bit. Also, i have been getting small whiteheads and blackheads around my nose area and cheeks.

I need a way to make my blemishes go away without drying out my skin.

I just recently started useing neutrogena blackhead eliminator scrub and it’s been working a little bit but it still makes my skin dry around my mouth.

I think ima switch to an egg white pore strip every day for my blackheads and the egg yolk wash as a moisterizer, would this work better? but this still made me dry around my mouth.

I just read about a lemon juice, honey, and sugar exfoliating scrub too. Should i use this every day or once a week?

any other suggestions?

Any kind of store bought moisterizer makes me break out so i need some home remedies please.

Ok I am 19 years old and I have tried everything out there. Every commercial product out there dries my skin out–and I don’t like that. I have been using Cetaphil which has been recommended by many ppl but that is drying my skin out too and I do not like the idea of using chemicals on my face. I do use a moisturizer but even that is full of chemicals and I really don’t feel any improvement. I want something that will change my skin–not somehthing that just moisturizes when I use it!

I have been doing some research and was considering buying some Honey for a mask, Jojoba Oil to moisturize and aloe vera leaf to do a treament 2-3 times a week. I really don’t know what I can use to clean my face though.. Anyone familiar with these natural remedies? Any feedback? I would really appreciate it!

My skin: Sensitive, slightly oily in the nose and forehead areas and very dry in the cheeks. I do not really get "pimples" but I do get these tiny bumps-a lot. I have blemishes.

I get very dry after washing my face-and if I only use water it feels too gunky.
Please–I don’t want anyone marketing their products to me! I want real genuine answers not fluff.

I am 13 and I have been trying to find the right skin care product ever since I started purberty (aka the devil’s butt). But I have a bad feeling that all the skin care products I have been using are damaging my skin and making it worse. Everything I have used didn’t really work for me. I try to take good care of it. I wash it every morning in the shower, then I apply SPF 30 face lotion of my face, then I use Bare Minerals make up just to cover up red spots and blemishes. I drink lots of water. I AM VERY INTERESTED IN NATURAL WAYS TO HELP MY SKIN LIKE REMEDIES. Does any body have any ideas?
The stuff I wash my face with is OLAY DAILY SCURB AND CLEANSER, I have very oily skin btw
Don’t worry, I am not some preppy little 13 year old girl who only wants to talk on the cell phone and be chattin up boys. I am not like that.
I RARELY use make up, maybe once or twice a month only when my acne and scars get REALLY bad or when I get a huge sunburn on my face which never really ever happens

I use skin toner, soap, facewash, spotcream, and rarely i will use an aspirin mask. I have very nice skin. Im not doing this forever, but just for now. im 15 flawless skin(except for 2 blemishes!) im just fighting any acne that pops up. When one zit pops up i get rid of it fast. Just until my acne phase of being a teen is over. Remember im a 15 year old. is this gay or weird?

I recently got a facial at a spa and apparently for a 25 year old, my skin is not in great shape. 32% of my face is affected by blemishes and hyperpigmentation and I also learned that I have very sensitive skin. According to the analysis, 65% of my skin has localized redness due to vascular damage.

I also have a few blemishes on my shoulders, back and chest.

The products suggested for my cleansing regimen were an organic cleanser, herbal toner, oil free moisturizer (all 3 Salon’s personal brand); Also suggested was a line called Yon-Ka, with a redness diffusing lotion and a clay mask.

All the products seemed fantastic but I didn’t want to end up spending tons of money on products from the salon if there were comparable products out there at a cheaper price. If it’s worth the money, then I will definitely buy salon products.. just wanted input first.

Any suggestions?
