I’m 12 and I want to start taking care of my skin more. What affordable face wash and moisturizer would you recommend I use and where can I buy it? I have combination skin btw. Normal skin on my cheeks and chin, oily skin in my T-zone.
Can my cheeks be allergic to benzoyl peroxide but my forehead and nose are not?!?
I used proactive in December and January and it worked great for me! I loved it…then I went on vacation (to a warmer place) for 5days and didn’t bring my proactive…when I came back from vacation, I used the products at night and the next morning I woke up with big blotchy red hives all over my face! Weird right?!
So I throw out my proactive and don’t use any acne meds. Until now (February) my acne started to get bad so I went to cvs and bought a morning wash (salsilic acid) and a night wash (benzoyl peroxide) and an astringent (salsilic acid)…before bed last night I used the night wash that has 3.5% benzoyl peroxide (it’s called clear pore daily scrub) and the salsilic acid astringent (just cvs brand for sensitive skin)…
now I am lying in bed (morning) with the same blotchy hives on my face, but this time they are not on my forehead or my chin, just my cheeks and around my jawbone (so none of the targeted acne areas!)
Should I stop using he benzoyl peroxide all together or should I only wash my face on the parts where I need acne treatment (ex. Forehead and nose) ??

Ok so I usually get a few pimples on my forehead and a few months ago i just broke out on my cheeks. I looks horrible epically since i pick at them and make them irritated. Are there any skin care products that come in sets like with a scrub, moisturizers, cleanser and toner?/
and what does a scrub moisturizer, cleanser and toner do?
At the moment i just use a clean and clear morning burst scrub. i dont use any moisturizer.
I need a new cleanser and moisturizer.
Preferably one that can be bought at the drugstore, but I don’t care.
I have very, VERY sensitive skin
I have bad excema, and I am allergic to many things….I don’t have acne ( yay genetics!) but I get the occasional pimple. I really just want a cleanser and moistureiser that will do the job without irritating my skin or causing a reaction.
I have combination skin, a slightly oily t-zone and sometimes dry cheeks. I need to moisturize, or my face will get really dry. My face gets pretty red sometimes, and most cleansers are too harsh on me. any ideas?
I’m 18 and have been fortunate enough to have very clear skin my entire life so far. I rarely break out, never had acne, and have been complimented many times for my skin.
But I think that skin, whether clear or prone to breaking out, should still be taken care of very well.
I recently bought Clinique’s 3 Step Daily face care. I’ve been using its Moisturizer for years and it’s great. Then I bought the toner and cleanser just yesterday.
I have combination/oily skin (cheeks are fine, oily T-zone, pimples usually come up on nose or forehead).
What my question is really, should I use all these products on my face? I’ve gotten great results from using the moisturizer alone but I worry that using all these products might be 1) just spending money unwisely, 2) too harsh for my skin that is already doing pretty well on its own, and 3) possibly cause more breakouts and such if I use toner and it causes more oil production due to stripping of oils or etc.
Possibly this question isn’t even something that can be answered without actually examining my skin but I’m asking in general terms.
My face is having a bad reaction from the new skin care products I bought. Everytime I put something on my face it burns. Even water! Should I use aloe vera? What should I do? By the way, I’m using philosophy purity made simple, olay total effects 7 in 1 anti-aging fragrance free, and neutrogena age shield face sunblock 70 spf. I stopped using them. But, my face is still burning and its severely dry with patches on my cheeks and by my mouth! Please HELP!!!

I have a few not to bad pimples but i always have pimples on my chin. I can’t get rid of them like a normal pimple. (it looks a bit like a rash of spots)
Uneven skin, freckles, age spots, wrinkles, dry, oily skin and of course sun damaged skin. The one that concerns me the most is the uneven skin….age spots or freckles. I hate to say it but I’m not really sure If they are freckles so many suddenly just appeard on my cheeks and forehead. Thanks in adance!!!
