I’m doing some back to school shopping at walmart today.. you know, school supplies, skin care and stuff. I’m basically obsessed with makeup and have an IMMENSE collection! I normally buy makeup at Sephora or Macys, but I heard about the makeup brand Hard Candy that is now available at walmart. I looked into the prices and they are very reasonable/cheap! So I was wondering, which products by Hard candy are deffinitely worth buying?!

Help !! :D I have acne/combination skin! >< and it’s hard to find make-up that doesn’t cake or anything when i put it on , any ideas? :S I’ve had acne since i was 11 and started wearing make-up when i was 12.. i just wore some powder from nivea and was always worrying about it, i remember in latin i sat at the back of the class and i’d try and secretly put it on. and in class i’d accidently pick a spot and always be asking for a tissue.. yeah.. good memories.. –’ lol. to be honest i would LOVE to be able not to wear make-up and have to bother with it all but i’d look like i just came out of world war three if i didn’t so yeah >< not guna happen, for the moment anyway :( :3
i mostly have a oily T-zone and then the rest of my face is pretty dry and sensitive..

i thought that seeing as my t-zone was where my acne was, i had oily skin so i tryed a ‘oil-free balancing’ foundation from the Body shop but argh!! nope!! lol. it would not blend at all and just stuck on my skin and bought all my pores out and just looked very cakey- big no.
so i tryed the ‘moisture’ foundation from the bodyshop, wich is what i’ve been using until recently-
i do really like it but i find that it tends to come off alot, especially round my nose and goes shiny..
was always having to ‘blotch’ it with those little paper thingys but i ran out pretty quickly :L…
i have tryed a Nivea foundation ‘pure&natural’ but either it was the wrong colour and too heavy..(trouble is live in the countryside in france an most of the shops are quite far away, there is a big supermarket with some makeup but the trouble is you can’t test it to try it out! :( .. i did however find a packet with some ‘mousse’ foundation that was open, so i decided to open the whole thing and test it but it wasn’t right anyway -shh!- (a) haha ) in the end i bought some l’oreal foundation for 15 euros, i haven’t tryed it for a whole school day yet but it seems much better coverage wise :) though it has a brush, i prefer to use a sponge otherwise it doesn’t look right!

so i guess i have dry skin but very sensitive? or combination ? blah xD.
anyone have any ideas for foundations/powders that they think might work? :) xox
or even any skincare products they’d recomend, moisturisers.. anything basically, would be MUCH appreciated !!!! :-)

My routine:
wash my face with warm water and pat it a bit
use 1pump of the clearasil multiaction gel stuff
moisturise ( a garnier one ’24hrs moisturizing care-eliminates the imperfections’ wich i use on my T-zone and then a Nivea shine controle wich i used on my cheeks etc, though sometimes i do prefer to use it all over my face after the garnier one as i find my face looks more ‘evened out’ colour wise..?)
*sometimes* primer from the body shop
a concealer pen from garnier ’2in1 Anti-spots roll-on’
then a concealer wich i put under my eyes
l’orĂ©al foundation
and voila!. if i don’t use a primer then some of my mums powder but she doesn’t really have the same colour or anything so it’s not that good lol!

i have dark brown hair with lighter brown goldyhighlights, quite pale skin, feeew freckles on the top of my cheeks,browny/hazel eyes, and yep.. :)

Is there any make-up for me out there? Lol :) should i ask a doctor/dermatologist (or however you spell that) what make-up is best for my skin? :/! :)x

My skin has recently broken out quite badly and my blackheads have suddenly gotten worse. The spots are also quite painful and the skin around them is hard like a lump.
I’m 20 and have always had pretty clear skin minus blackheads. I never really got spots apart from the odd ones in my hair line from too much hair product and they always went away quickly once I popped them.
I have had the same skin care routine for three months, my diet hasn’t changed at all and I’m not stressed, if anything in the last 2 months I have been more relaxed since I finished college. I have been using pore strips twice a week to remove my blackheads but they hardly help. I do wear makeup but I remove it well as soon as I come hope as I cleanse twice to remove it all and cleanse my skin. In the last week I have swapped my toner for witch hazel to help get rid of the spots and blackheads which has helped a little. I don’t really want to get proactive as in the UK you have to buy it online and I don’t buy things online, plus it will probably get off my eczema. How to stop my skin from breaking out?

I’m a teenager and I have mild acne. Of course this can be caused by many things like hormones, bacteria, diet, and not taking care of my skin properly. I need a good facial cleanser and moisturizer that will take this acne away as well as prevent new acne from appearing. I also need to get a good makeup like bare minerals so do you know any stores I can buy it from other than online?

Thanks a bunch.

I have very sensitive skin that is oily and I have acne scars and ocassional breakouts but my acne isn’t too bad. I can use certain skin care for a while and it works awesome. But after a while my skin breaks out badly like it got used to what I was using and it doesn’t work anymore. I would like to use natural products. Any suggestions. I would also like something that will take my makeup off when I wash my face. I have used stuff you can buy at target and walmart an it doesn’t work. Thank you!!!! :)

Ive never shopped clinique but my friend use it and they love it so im switching from drug store products to hopefully something (clinique) that will work for me.

Ps. I dont need anything for my acne because im on meds for it I just need the stuff for oily sensitive skin and large pores :)

Avon has an great selection of skin care products like makeup and cleansers and moisturizers that are even cheaper than the drug stores. I shop online at www. yourAvon.com/kgardiner. They deliver right to my door. I made extra holiday money last year selling the stuff. AWESOME.

My question is going to be relatively long seeing as I have three things that I want to know about how to take care of my skin. But first, I just want you to know that I wear absolutely no makeup at all. As in, the closest I get to makeup is lip balm and Olay face cream (I hardly put the face cream on because I get too lazy, haha). And just in case this has any relevance, I’m Indian so… if that has any effect in what treatments I should use, then I would like to know.
Anyways, so my first question about skin care is for acne (and maybe blackheads, but mostly acne) and acne scars. I’m about to turn 17 in three months (I doubt that’s actually relevant but you might as well know) and I’ve had my acne issue for the past 2-3 years. Before highschool I had very clear skin (and I really miss those days…) but then I got the ‘bright idea’ to wear a hairstyle where the hair was covering half my face (worst decision!) and my acne issue started – I don’t wear that kind of hairstyle anymore. My acne isn’t so severe that my face is completely covered in red bumps and my face isn’t oily (in fact, it’s relatively dry). But, I do get a lot of annoying red pimples/zits and on top of that I have scars from previous pimples. The scars are most likely a result of me picking at some of the pimples but most of them I haven’t picked at. I want to somehow get rid of these scars and pimples or at least reduce the visibility of them (and perhaps the probability of getting them). I use some facial cleansers but I only use it because I already bought it so might as well finish it. Sometimes I almost get convinced that Proactiv does work but for the most part I can never believe their commercials because the ‘After’ photo shows the person with loads of makeup on and those types of things can always even be photo shopped. Also, my parents don’t like to spend so much money for those kinds of things and I can understand why. I want to know a good, healthy and inexpensive way to heal acne scars and pimples. Also, I’m the type of person that, when I’m sitting down and doing something on a desk of some sort, I lean on my hand. Apparently that makes acne worse and I want to know if that’s true.
My second question (don’t worry, this’ll be short) is about chicken pox scars. I had chicken pox at the age of 13 which is extremely late compared to other people. I don’t know if the age that I had chicken pox has an effect on chicken pox scars or not, but the scars (from the few that I apparently picked at, even though I don’t remember doing that…) from those days haven’t gone away and I was just wondering if they was any inexpensive way to treat them? Just to reduce visibility.
My last question is about my back (that sounds strange, haha). I have weird, small bumps on my back that are like pimples in terms of size but not actually pimples. I just want to know what exactly they are and if there’s any way for me to get rid of them.
Sorry for making people read my essay of a question :) I would really like to know (and would extremely appreciate) the answers for all of these questions – although not necessarily from one person. Also, I would accept any inexpensive home remedy and if you do think that things like Proactiv and other things like that work, I want to know about personal experiences, not just that ‘doctors and dermatologists guarantee it’. I would also appreciate if help would come from people who experienced my type of acne or even worse and how they dealt with it, not just people who only have pimples rarely. But I do appreciate answers from anyone. Well, I guess I’m going to stop boring you with my constant babbling (this is what my friends have to deal with, haha) so this is where I’ll stop.
Thank you to anyone who has any advice.
P.S. I might have left some info out but I don’t think anyone will mind that seeing as I talked a lot already. Thank you!
