I have very oily, sensitive, acne prone skin. I’m 14 years old, what is a good skin care regame for me? I’ve been through so many different cleansing products, saint ives, clean and clear, ect and nothing seems to work for me. All clean and clear products seem to leave dry peeling patches on my skin. I have large pores, acne on my forehead, and the sides of my nose, and blackheads all over my nose (clean and clear blackhead scrub works good on that). But I’ve been thinking of buying the clarosonic, or some electronic skin system. I’m willing to spend any amount on something that will help me.

My mom doesn’t think I need proactiv because she thinks my acne isn’t that bad (and its really not as bad as the proactiv commercials) and she also doesn’t want to risk me getting acne scars.

Sorry this was so long, but in a nutshell, what skin care products are good for oily, SUPER SENSETIVE skin? Something that willl not dry out my skin! Something natural, perferably organic..like aveeno? And would the clarosonic be right for me? Is it worth the money it costs? Thanks so much!

Does anyone know of any good skin care products (face wash, lotion, etc..) for dry skin? I’ve tried SheerCover and the Heidi Klum stuff. LOVE SheerCover, but it just doesn’t work for my skin – I still have to do a mask every other day. I hated the Heidi Klum stuff, I just couldn’t stand the smell.
Any suggestions? I will spend the money, but I don’t want it to be TOO pricey.
Thanks!

I’ve had a few pimples here and there since I was 14 years old. Two years later, its gotten way out of control. Late last year I started to notice acne scarring and breakouts a lot more on my skin. It was roughly the same time I began to use makeup more, but then again I’ve been using makeup since I was 13 years old, not too much of course. I honestly don’t think its the makeup, I take great care of my brushes, and most of my products are minerals or contain spf, oh and I really don’t use much makeup, I promise. Anywho, my question basically is, what’s going on with my skin, I’ve tried EVERYTHING. Scrubs, daily cleansers, foam cleansers, soap, natural cleansers, and masks, moisturizes, just about anything and everything I thought would help, but I don’t really notice a difference. I started noticing that every 2-3 months after trying a product and seeing good results, my skin would just suddenly stop responding to the product and soon my skin would go back to its troubled acne. So for the past month and a half I’ve just been using even less makeup, just in case that has anything to do with my acne, stopped using all the acne products I’ve spent my money on, and just simply used soap to clean my skin. It seemed to help the first week but of course now my skin looks terrible as usual. So I have no idea what to do, I’m tried of being disgusted when I look in the mirror, I have acne and scarring and it’s not me. I’m not looking at buying any acne solutions or whatever they sell on tv but instead something is works and is natural, please help. Also my skin has been extra dry lately since I’ve stopped moisturizing it since my moisturize had chemical ingredients in it, so I just put some on today but I don’t know if I should continue using it. Well sorry for the ramble, if you have any good advice please let me know, thank you so much for answering my question.

I currently own the Aveeno Active Naturals Skin Brightening Daily Scrub. I also own the Aveeno Active Naturals Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser. I also own th Aveeno Active Naturals Positively ageless lifting & firming eye cream. I also own L’OREAL Paris Dermo-Expertise HydraFresh Toner.
-This is all that I have (Skincare Wise)

Now here is what I am confused about. I don’t know what goes first. The daily scrub or the cleanser. I understand that you are suppose to cleanse everyday. The thing is I have the daily scrub and sense it says daily, I suppose i have to do that daily also. So what goes first.
I’m also confused as to how I incorporate my eye cream and toner.

I am 15 and bran new to skincare, I am also low on money and can’t really by anything else at this moment. My skin isn’t so bad. I don’t have/get acne. I rarely get some tiny bumps on my face but they leave within a week. My skin only gets dry during winter. In the other seasons my skin isn’t oily or dry. Its pretty in the middle. So I’m guessing I have normal to dry skin. I bought the eye ream because I have terrible dark circles. I’m being serious. Even when I have a good night sleep they are still pretty bad.

I hope you understood my problem. I had trouble wording this out.

I’m a teenager and I don’t have the money to buy all those products that some websites and magazines suggest. My skin is pretty normal, neither dry nor oily. But I have lots of blackheads(most on my nose) and sometimes pimples but they’re not tragic. I do facial every 2-3 months.
I don’t know how to take care of my skin daily… Can you tell me how?
p.s. I don’t put on make up every day

Im thinking of switching from La Mer The Moisturizing Gel Cream since the original formula must be better. Its a lighter version of Creme de la Mer.

erghhh…not sure.
Gel de la Mer:

or Creme de la Mer

http://www.cremedelamer.com/templates/products/spp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY5778&PRODUCT_ID=PROD2459

If you are going to be saying things like there are cheaper that work just as good, dont answer. I seriously doubt it. This is the stuff used on burn victims. Should i just stay with the lighter formulation and get gel de la mer? Or can I go for the original even though I have oily/combination skin. Money is no problem. I dont care if its heavy since I dont wear makeup since im a guy. just want to maintain perfect skin and dont want to break out. Im 18 and yes…my mom will buy it for me. I like it better than that Caudalie stuff she buys.

I’ve always had nice skin and only got a pimple or two during my menstrual cycle but ever since i started wearing foundation my skin isn’t as clear-free as it used to be. What are good cleansers, toners, etc for your skin and are expensive skin care products worth the money? I was at a spa today and one of the women who did my eyebrows was trying to sell me this all natural skin cleanser & toner that she swore would do wonders for my skin…but i didnt buy because it was over for both products. My question is: is it really worth the money for spa facials or expensive facial products or do cheap drugstore brands such as Aveeno or Neurtogena work just as good? I currently use Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer and i have an Aveeno gentle scrub and the Neutrogena oil-free acne wash. Any recommendations on good products? I have oily skin and only get minor pimples. Thank you!
