Help !! :D I have acne/combination skin! >< and it’s hard to find make-up that doesn’t cake or anything when i put it on , any ideas? :S I’ve had acne since i was 11 and started wearing make-up when i was 12.. i just wore some powder from nivea and was always worrying about it, i remember in latin i sat at the back of the class and i’d try and secretly put it on. and in class i’d accidently pick a spot and always be asking for a tissue.. yeah.. good memories.. –’ lol. to be honest i would LOVE to be able not to wear make-up and have to bother with it all but i’d look like i just came out of world war three if i didn’t so yeah >< not guna happen, for the moment anyway :( :3
i mostly have a oily T-zone and then the rest of my face is pretty dry and sensitive..

i thought that seeing as my t-zone was where my acne was, i had oily skin so i tryed a ‘oil-free balancing’ foundation from the Body shop but argh!! nope!! lol. it would not blend at all and just stuck on my skin and bought all my pores out and just looked very cakey- big no.
so i tryed the ‘moisture’ foundation from the bodyshop, wich is what i’ve been using until recently-
i do really like it but i find that it tends to come off alot, especially round my nose and goes shiny..
was always having to ‘blotch’ it with those little paper thingys but i ran out pretty quickly :L…
i have tryed a Nivea foundation ‘pure&natural’ but either it was the wrong colour and too heavy..(trouble is live in the countryside in france an most of the shops are quite far away, there is a big supermarket with some makeup but the trouble is you can’t test it to try it out! :( .. i did however find a packet with some ‘mousse’ foundation that was open, so i decided to open the whole thing and test it but it wasn’t right anyway -shh!- (a) haha ) in the end i bought some l’oreal foundation for 15 euros, i haven’t tryed it for a whole school day yet but it seems much better coverage wise :) though it has a brush, i prefer to use a sponge otherwise it doesn’t look right!

so i guess i have dry skin but very sensitive? or combination ? blah xD.
anyone have any ideas for foundations/powders that they think might work? :) xox
or even any skincare products they’d recomend, moisturisers.. anything basically, would be MUCH appreciated !!!! :-)

My routine:
wash my face with warm water and pat it a bit
use 1pump of the clearasil multiaction gel stuff
moisturise ( a garnier one ’24hrs moisturizing care-eliminates the imperfections’ wich i use on my T-zone and then a Nivea shine controle wich i used on my cheeks etc, though sometimes i do prefer to use it all over my face after the garnier one as i find my face looks more ‘evened out’ colour wise..?)
*sometimes* primer from the body shop
a concealer pen from garnier ’2in1 Anti-spots roll-on’
then a concealer wich i put under my eyes
l’orĂ©al foundation
and voila!. if i don’t use a primer then some of my mums powder but she doesn’t really have the same colour or anything so it’s not that good lol!

i have dark brown hair with lighter brown goldyhighlights, quite pale skin, feeew freckles on the top of my cheeks,browny/hazel eyes, and yep.. :)

Is there any make-up for me out there? Lol :) should i ask a doctor/dermatologist (or however you spell that) what make-up is best for my skin? :/! :)x

SO.. i have combination skin. I don’t exactly have acne..but i do have quite a few blemishes and my skin is prone to breakouts/acne. At the moment, i use mostly clean and clear products and I don’t think i see the improvement, even though I have been using the products for a couple months now.
What are some skin care products that actually help by tightening pores and help clearing up your skin??
PLEASE ANSWER (: <3

I want to minimize the pores around my nose and cheeks. What products can I use? I want to purchase a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer but I don’t know which brand will work for me. My skin is pretty oily around my cheeks and nose. Thank you!

Are the cleansers good? Moisturizers? Do laneige skincare products clog pores? Anything else i should know about laneige skin care products? Thank you.

okay, i’ve asked a few questions about my skin before, but they just didn’t convince me.

I need to know a lot of reviews about origins products, mostly for skin care. I don’t have like, a face full of zits, or like a patch, my face is pretty clear. I have good skin, but like, a few imperfections. I kind of have a couple black heads and umm i might want something for pores? idk, I also have sensitive skin.

I want to buy the checks and balances face wash and the spot remover for when i have a zit, but i want to know if it’s worth it. should i buy it? what are your thoughts?? or if you have any other products that are good and not too expensive?

thank you!!!

I showed my mom the Sheer Cover website after seeing the infomercial. I want to use mineral makeup because right now I use Covergirl which is basically the cheapest brand you could buy, and I’m really tired of having cakey orange makeup. She said that I don’t need mineral makeup because I don’t know that it’s any better than what I already have. I told her that of course it will be better because it won’t clog my pores and in the end I won’t have to wear as much makeup because some of my zits will go away. All she said was, "That’s nice," and walked away. Nothing I say to her ever makes any difference and she doesn’t care that my skin is the most hideous thing on the face of the earth just because it doesn’t involve her. So do you agree with me that mineral makeup is better than Covergirl so I can show this to her? I’m 14.

I suppose it’s concealer that’s giving me pains. I’ve got acne, not horrible giant pustules all over my face (I’m a pretty clean person) acne, but acne that’s still pretty bad. My pores are… big :(, and I’m quite pale, and though I don’t mind this many of my zits scar pretty bad even when (ew) they pop. My skin has a pinkish undertone to it, although I’m not exactly red-faced. Redness, purpleness, and predominantly texture are the problems I always have with my makeup. My skin is also dry, and I wash it with this moisturizing face wash that’s very mild but still cleansing (Aveeno of some kind). I also use lotion on my face every night, but… idk, this sounds weird, but I use body lotion on my face, another Aveeno product. I feel like it moisturizes better than any of the creamy face stuff, and seems to clear oil away, a definate plus. Alright, so that’s my skin and how I take care of it.

Thank God my history delivery is over. Now, for make-up I really do not have the money to experiment with products and brands and whatnot. It’s really frusterating to buy a whole new thing of concealer only to find that it’s wayyy too yellow on my skin. Also, nothing seems to stick. I’ll put on my make-up (which usually ends up really heavy, since my rainbowness always seems to shine through xP), and then leave for school, to return and find my make-up flaking off around my nose and forehead. It’s so nasty-looking!!! Not to mention uncomfortable. On the rare occasion I’m not having a break-out from the flaky cake I put on everyday, I can wear it lighter and still be all the same color person. ^^ Those days make me happy. I don’t seem to flake at all.

The colored concealer, btw, does not work for me. Neither does wearing stuff for people with more yellow undertones to their skin cancel out the red or purple, despite what everyone seems to be telling me.

I don’t need to look like a super-model. I just want to look natural, and have all my skin be the same color without having to layer and layer and layer or exhaust my life savings, you know? Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I sure could use some products. xP *sweatdrop*

Help! Thanks so much to everyone who answers ;D
whoaa, sorry that’s so long, guys D:

Why should I buy all the special lotions and exfoliants and stuff at my tanning salon instead of just using what I have at home? The girl at the salon said I should stay away from skin care products with oil in them, why is that?
The oil in question was not oils that clog your pores, but olive oil and safflower oil which don’t clog pores.

which can be bought here in philippines..the one that cannot clog pores, because i’m the one who is easily exhausted, so the tendency is my pores are so much open..

can you also give me advices about facial and skin care? whenever you’re always lacking of sleep, stressed and many works to do always..
