I am a young boy and I have quite oily skin and it can sometimes be a little dry. I have lots of spots, rare blackheads, pimples, zits etc. and I am very fed up. Today I picked up some new products as I don’t think my old products were actually working. Here is the list along with the links

L’Oreal Paris Perfect Clear Foaming Gentle scrub, Exfoliating (360 clean):

Boots Botanics Skin Brightening Cleanser: http://www.boots.com/en/Botanics-skin-Brightening-Cleanser-New-Improved_50728/

Boots Botanics Skin Brightening Toner: http://www.boots.com/en/Botanics-Skin-Brightening-Toner-250ml_34095/

Boots Botanics Sensitive Oil Free Moisturiser: http://www.boots.com/en/Botanics-Sensitive-Oil-Free-Moisturiser_34081/

Please tell me what you think, read the description, reviews etc.
Here is what I know, exfoliate (L’oreal scrub) 2-3 times per week, Sunday and Tuesday
Cleanse every morning and night, after cleansing use a toner, then a moisturiser. Before I go to bed I use Differin Cream for acne. My sister got it prescribed by the doctor for her, she keeps it in her room, so I always forget to ask her for it, so I don’t use it every night. ALSO, I haven’t had a chance to use any of these new products yet as I only bought them today and I still need to finish my old ones off :)

Thanks very much for answers!

I have very oily, sensitive, acne prone skin. I’m 14 years old, what is a good skin care regame for me? I’ve been through so many different cleansing products, saint ives, clean and clear, ect and nothing seems to work for me. All clean and clear products seem to leave dry peeling patches on my skin. I have large pores, acne on my forehead, and the sides of my nose, and blackheads all over my nose (clean and clear blackhead scrub works good on that). But I’ve been thinking of buying the clarosonic, or some electronic skin system. I’m willing to spend any amount on something that will help me.

My mom doesn’t think I need proactiv because she thinks my acne isn’t that bad (and its really not as bad as the proactiv commercials) and she also doesn’t want to risk me getting acne scars.

Sorry this was so long, but in a nutshell, what skin care products are good for oily, SUPER SENSETIVE skin? Something that willl not dry out my skin! Something natural, perferably organic..like aveeno? And would the clarosonic be right for me? Is it worth the money it costs? Thanks so much!

Can my cheeks be allergic to benzoyl peroxide but my forehead and nose are not?!?
I used proactive in December and January and it worked great for me! I loved it…then I went on vacation (to a warmer place) for 5days and didn’t bring my proactive…when I came back from vacation, I used the products at night and the next morning I woke up with big blotchy red hives all over my face! Weird right?!
So I throw out my proactive and don’t use any acne meds. Until now (February) my acne started to get bad so I went to cvs and bought a morning wash (salsilic acid) and a night wash (benzoyl peroxide) and an astringent (salsilic acid)…before bed last night I used the night wash that has 3.5% benzoyl peroxide (it’s called clear pore daily scrub) and the salsilic acid astringent (just cvs brand for sensitive skin)…
now I am lying in bed (morning) with the same blotchy hives on my face, but this time they are not on my forehead or my chin, just my cheeks and around my jawbone (so none of the targeted acne areas!)
Should I stop using he benzoyl peroxide all together or should I only wash my face on the parts where I need acne treatment (ex. Forehead and nose) ??
I applaud you for reading my entire question!!!
Thanks and any suggestions I am willing to take :)
(I am a 14 y/o girl btw :)

I dont know whats best..they have foaming, gel, and cream cleansers?whats the difference? lol
I want something like: An everyday cleanser for the morning,a moisturizer to put on before my makeup,a toner to even my skin,a cleanser for nightime, and a good scrub to use once a week.

I’ve always had nice skin and only got a pimple or two during my menstrual cycle but ever since i started wearing foundation my skin isn’t as clear-free as it used to be. What are good cleansers, toners, etc for your skin and are expensive skin care products worth the money? I was at a spa today and one of the women who did my eyebrows was trying to sell me this all natural skin cleanser & toner that she swore would do wonders for my skin…but i didnt buy because it was over for both products. My question is: is it really worth the money for spa facials or expensive facial products or do cheap drugstore brands such as Aveeno or Neurtogena work just as good? I currently use Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer and i have an Aveeno gentle scrub and the Neutrogena oil-free acne wash. Any recommendations on good products? I have oily skin and only get minor pimples. Thank you!

What’s the best way to get soft, silky, and smooth looking skin? Whenever I look at my skin close up or in good light, it looks really bad to me. I have little bumps under my eyes which could be normal, but I honestly don’t know.I’m sure I’ll get told that more than likely it’s make up, BUT I was wondering if anyone knew how to get skin like celebrities all seem to have. I know a majority is makeup, but some skin looks perfect even without it. I had a facial and although it made my skin feel much softer, it didn’t really seem to change the look of it. Any suggestions on what I could buy for cleansers? I have a Biore pore cleansing scrub, but I can’t tell if that’s working or not. But what are some of the best tips you all have gotten about any facial care?

I really need help setting up a skin-care routine for nights and maybe in the mornings because I believe my skin’s abnormal behavior is due to my ever-changing cleansing routine; it must freak out every time I do something different.

I own the following as my skin-care:
-Freeman’s Facial Clay Mask (Avocado & Oatmeal)
-Equate’s Apricot Scrub (Peach, medicated exfoliator)
-Equate’s Deep Cleansing Skin Cream (like Noxema)
-Equate’s Medicated Acne Gel
-Clean & Clear’s Oxygenating Moisturizer (I combine this and a whipped matte foundation in the mornings)

I have all these products but I have no idea in which order to go about using them…and if I use them all at once (in the same night) my skin gets either very oily or very dry. How should I use all these products to keep my face clean but not overly dry or oily? (and are there any suggestions as effective replacements or additions I can buy and use?)

I’m 20 years old and I wash my face twice a day, everyday (In the morning and at night), however I only use cheap products that I can buy at Wal-mart. I use Neutragena Orange Scrub and then Nivea moisturizer. My skin is clean but it doesn’t feel firm or glowy, and I have bad lines under my eyes.
I want new skin care products and I’m not afraid to spend a little.. I was reading a new age beauty magazine that had skin care products from A-Z.. And I don’t know which to choose!!
I want some kind of expoliator, and moistuizer for sure. I’m only 20 so I don’t need anti-wrinkle cream (I don’t think), but if there any kind of serum I can use to keep healthy, young skin or prevent aging damage? Or to get rid of lines under the eyes? Any weekly or monthly peel treatment?

I really want beautiful skin when I go back to University at the end of the summer, please reccomend some skin products and rituals to acheive this!
Thanks!
Some products that are popular is Lacome, Juice Beauty, Anew, Kate Somerville, etc..
