My skin has recently broken out quite badly and my blackheads have suddenly gotten worse. The spots are also quite painful and the skin around them is hard like a lump.
I’m 20 and have always had pretty clear skin minus blackheads. I never really got spots apart from the odd ones in my hair line from too much hair product and they always went away quickly once I popped them.
I have had the same skin care routine for three months, my diet hasn’t changed at all and I’m not stressed, if anything in the last 2 months I have been more relaxed since I finished college. I have been using pore strips twice a week to remove my blackheads but they hardly help. I do wear makeup but I remove it well as soon as I come hope as I cleanse twice to remove it all and cleanse my skin. In the last week I have swapped my toner for witch hazel to help get rid of the spots and blackheads which has helped a little. I don’t really want to get proactive as in the UK you have to buy it online and I don’t buy things online, plus it will probably get off my eczema. How to stop my skin from breaking out?
** PLEASE READ!! **
Recently, I realized that I ran out of certain products for my skin care routine, but decided I should change things up completely. I bought a new eye cream a week ago, which I LOVE, as well as some anti-aging serums to use during the day and night to prevent signs of aging.
However, I’m in need of a new daily moisturizer that has at least SPF 30-35 in it (also must be light weight because I have combination skin). I also am looking into buying a toner to be able to remove excess dirt and oil. Also, any suggestions for treating acne? I don’t really get pimples and my skin is actually pretty nice and is clear. I do, however get pimples now and then. Any suggestions for a light-weight night cream as well? I used Hope In A Jar by Philosophy, which I did like, but I am open to other suggestions. I don’t use products that test on animals, so I’m only looking into cruelty-free products. Please help! Thanks!
Okay so I want to have oil-free/ shine free skin by the first day of school which is on August 29. Which facial cleanser should I buy. Should I go with the skin care that’s cheaper or the second.
SKIN CARE ROUTINE #1
-St Ives Apricot Blemish Control Scrub
- Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Facial Cleanser- Pink Grapefruit
- Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Spot Gel
- Clinque Gel Moisturizer
SKIN CARE ROUTINE #2
-Clinque 3 Step
So should I go for the more expensive one or should I go to the cheaper one. PLEASE HELP I REALLY WANT SHINE FREE SKIN ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Im 14 and my skin is oily
Hi, I just won a competition and got these new skin care products ;)
I got;
A mild face wash
Refreshing facial scrub
Light cream moisturizer
and a spot treatment thing that you roll on your spots
The products are for teenage skin (they’re quite high-end products).
So usually I just use facial wash in the morning and a night… But it’s not really helping as my skin is breaking out.
I was wondering if I should use the facial scrub to exfoliate my skin before I use the facial wash or after?
How can I make a skin care routine from my new products and how should I use them and which order too?
I am going to buy toner tomorrow. How often should I use it… And should I use it before I moisturize?
Thanks
My skin was breaking out with my previous facial wash not the new one…
I’d like to add this to my skin-care routine.
I had bought the Urban decay primer potion aboutttt 6 months ago, and it was woonderful, it worked so well. But i just recently bought it again and it DOES NOT work for me, what so ever. I have creases 2 hours into the day which does not work for me. I’m not doing anything differently, no new skin care routine or anything. i almost feel as though they have changed the formula for it… Can anyone explain why this happened? And also, could anyone reccommend a new primer for me?
Im 17.
My skin is really FAIR.
In the summer i have an OILY problem.
in the winter i have an OVERLY DRY problem.
i Already use Neutrogena facial cleanser daily and clean and clear moisturizer.
I break out when i dont use a product that fights acne, but by using them i get horrible DRY skin.I have bad CLOGGED PORES and they have been this way for months now.
I also have alot of REDNESS on my cheeks, and a very UN-EVEN skin tone.

Hi=)
So I was on the neutrogena website and they have SO many different great products.
The problem is,I dont know which ones to choose from for my new skin care routine.
I dont want to buy alot of diff things to test(major waste of money).
I have very dry skin, but also sensitive.I have redness on my cheeks and a very uneven skintone and I have acne scars.I break out around my chin especially around my period.I also have clogged pores.I need a new plan lol. I dont know whats best..they have foaming, gel, and cream cleansers?whats the difference? lol
I want something like: An everyday cleanser for the morning,a moisturizer to put on before my makeup,a toner to even my skin,a cleanser for nightime, and a good scrub to use once a week.
What products should i use and what do you think would be best for my skin?
Please Help!
i just bought witch hazel. im not sure how to use it! do i leave it on to dry or wash it off with water???? do i put it on before moisturizer or after??? and in the morning before makeup, i wash my face before putting on makeup. usually its with Noxzema deep face cleanser. i have pimples on the bridge of my nose. i don’t want to over wash my face because i know if u do, it takes the natural oils out and it produces more oil, in which i ddon’twant cuzz my skin is oily on the T zone ( forehead, nose, chin) how should i do my skin care routine???? im not sure how to. if u could do it step by step, it’d help me a lot :) 5 stars best answer :D <3
My skin is fine for the most part, I don’t have acne, and I only get pimples a few days before my period, they’re nothing big or serious. But I do have little bumps that are the colour of my skin, I’m not sure if they’re pimples or not because they’re VERY small. I’m not sure whst to use to get rid of them, any ideas? I usually get pimples on my chin, is there a way to prevent that? I don’t really touch ny face, I sometimes rest my Chin on my hand but that’s about it, also, I don’t wear any make up, I just use concealer sometimes.
I don’t really have a skin care routine, I just wash my face in the morning and before bed, also when I come home from school, with plain water, my mom recently bought me an Aloe & Vitamin E bar soap, but it’s for the body…not sure if I can use it on my face?
If you know of any products or just a simple skin care routine please let me know! Thanks.
