Help !! :D I have acne/combination skin! >< and it’s hard to find make-up that doesn’t cake or anything when i put it on , any ideas? :S I’ve had acne since i was 11 and started wearing make-up when i was 12.. i just wore some powder from nivea and was always worrying about it, i remember in latin i sat at the back of the class and i’d try and secretly put it on. and in class i’d accidently pick a spot and always be asking for a tissue.. yeah.. good memories.. –’ lol. to be honest i would LOVE to be able not to wear make-up and have to bother with it all but i’d look like i just came out of world war three if i didn’t so yeah >< not guna happen, for the moment anyway :( :3
i mostly have a oily T-zone and then the rest of my face is pretty dry and sensitive..

i thought that seeing as my t-zone was where my acne was, i had oily skin so i tryed a ‘oil-free balancing’ foundation from the Body shop but argh!! nope!! lol. it would not blend at all and just stuck on my skin and bought all my pores out and just looked very cakey- big no.
so i tryed the ‘moisture’ foundation from the bodyshop, wich is what i’ve been using until recently-
i do really like it but i find that it tends to come off alot, especially round my nose and goes shiny..
was always having to ‘blotch’ it with those little paper thingys but i ran out pretty quickly :L…
i have tryed a Nivea foundation ‘pure&natural’ but either it was the wrong colour and too heavy..(trouble is live in the countryside in france an most of the shops are quite far away, there is a big supermarket with some makeup but the trouble is you can’t test it to try it out! :( .. i did however find a packet with some ‘mousse’ foundation that was open, so i decided to open the whole thing and test it but it wasn’t right anyway -shh!- (a) haha ) in the end i bought some l’oreal foundation for 15 euros, i haven’t tryed it for a whole school day yet but it seems much better coverage wise :) though it has a brush, i prefer to use a sponge otherwise it doesn’t look right!

so i guess i have dry skin but very sensitive? or combination ? blah xD.
anyone have any ideas for foundations/powders that they think might work? :) xox
or even any skincare products they’d recomend, moisturisers.. anything basically, would be MUCH appreciated !!!! :-)

My routine:
wash my face with warm water and pat it a bit
use 1pump of the clearasil multiaction gel stuff
moisturise ( a garnier one ’24hrs moisturizing care-eliminates the imperfections’ wich i use on my T-zone and then a Nivea shine controle wich i used on my cheeks etc, though sometimes i do prefer to use it all over my face after the garnier one as i find my face looks more ‘evened out’ colour wise..?)
*sometimes* primer from the body shop
a concealer pen from garnier ’2in1 Anti-spots roll-on’
then a concealer wich i put under my eyes
l’orĂ©al foundation
and voila!. if i don’t use a primer then some of my mums powder but she doesn’t really have the same colour or anything so it’s not that good lol!

i have dark brown hair with lighter brown goldyhighlights, quite pale skin, feeew freckles on the top of my cheeks,browny/hazel eyes, and yep.. :)

Is there any make-up for me out there? Lol :) should i ask a doctor/dermatologist (or however you spell that) what make-up is best for my skin? :/! :)x

am 13 years old.
Fair skinned.
I have acne on my forehead, chin, and nose- basically my t zone
i have combonation skin and i have blackheads, normal looking pimples, and sometimes zits
I was wondering how i should cleanse my face everymorning and night
The products i have are: biore pore uncloggling scrub, biore ice cleanser, l’oreal go 360 clean for sensitive skin, neutrogena cleansing pads, neutrogena cleanser/mask, neutrogina alchohol free toner

obiously im not using all of this at once, but i was wondering which products to use that woud work to keep my acne away. I dont want to use so much that it makes my acne worse.
My mom also wont let me buy anymore skin products cause she thinks i have enough already.
It would be great if you gave me a step by step routine for morning and night.
I dont want a link to some website-it doesnt help me

I’m 12 and I want to start taking care of my skin more. What affordable face wash and moisturizer would you recommend I use and where can I buy it? I have combination skin btw. Normal skin on my cheeks and chin, oily skin in my T-zone.

I need a new cleanser and moisturizer.
Preferably one that can be bought at the drugstore, but I don’t care.
I have very, VERY sensitive skin
I have bad excema, and I am allergic to many things….I don’t have acne ( yay genetics!) but I get the occasional pimple. I really just want a cleanser and moistureiser that will do the job without irritating my skin or causing a reaction.
I have combination skin, a slightly oily t-zone and sometimes dry cheeks. I need to moisturize, or my face will get really dry. My face gets pretty red sometimes, and most cleansers are too harsh on me. any ideas?

I’m 18 and have been fortunate enough to have very clear skin my entire life so far. I rarely break out, never had acne, and have been complimented many times for my skin.
But I think that skin, whether clear or prone to breaking out, should still be taken care of very well.
I recently bought Clinique’s 3 Step Daily face care. I’ve been using its Moisturizer for years and it’s great. Then I bought the toner and cleanser just yesterday.
I have combination/oily skin (cheeks are fine, oily T-zone, pimples usually come up on nose or forehead).

What my question is really, should I use all these products on my face? I’ve gotten great results from using the moisturizer alone but I worry that using all these products might be 1) just spending money unwisely, 2) too harsh for my skin that is already doing pretty well on its own, and 3) possibly cause more breakouts and such if I use toner and it causes more oil production due to stripping of oils or etc.
Possibly this question isn’t even something that can be answered without actually examining my skin but I’m asking in general terms.

I know when you use a facial scrub you should also use a cleanser, but won’t the combination of the two over dry your face?
I have combination skin and only use a cleanser + moisturizer. I wanted to try adding a scrub to my routine because cleansing isn’t doing it for my acne (mostly blackheads and occasional pimples).
I use my cleanser in the shower and when i get out of the shower my face is very dry. Through out the day I have to keep applying moisturizer. I’ve realized that when I wash my face using sink water my face isn’t as dry, so it could just be the shower water. I’m not sure if it’s just the weather, but my usually oily t-zone has been dry and flaky while the rest of my skin is semi-dry to normal. Perhaps when spring is over summer will make my face like a glazed donut, then I’ll be wishing for the dryness. Ugh, my skin is so frustrating.

Should I still use my skin products for combination skin or try using products for dry skin?
Will products for dry skin contribute to my blackheads and pimples?

When using a scrub should you avoid pimples?

Toners – Are all toners/Astringents created equal? Do they all work the same way? I bought Witch Hazel a while ago, because I read somewhere It’s good for blackheads, but haven’t used it in fear of the alcohol content. Will the toner add to the dryness when combined with a scrub and cleanser?

Are mud masks, clay masks, microdermabrasions, etc. considered to be like scrubs and should not be used in combination with each other?

Microdermabrasion or acne-scrub? Which one will work best on acne (blackheads)?
